I've been trawling ebay etc for a 2nd hand SV650. Although I've kind of set my heart on a new one, I came across this

Currently no bids and a few hours left only. Worth a punt?

looks tidy enough, I probably would but I buy things on impulse and have lots of debt because of it!

It's not the debt so much it's the look on the wife's face when I mention in passing "I've just bought a motorbike"

If your really set for a new (thus pointy) one, then this could be a disappointment.

Could be worth a punt at it, but you must go and see it, take someone with that knows their stuff if you are unsure. Go with the mindset ready to walk away without it. Check all paperwork, anything fishy leave.

go for interest free credit and get a new one for a pound! sorry thats the debt devil inside me talking there! I'm sellin me car to get into more debt to buy another! love it!! don't know how I sleep at night!

Thanks all. Yeah I think I just stop buggering about and get a new one. I have a test ride booked for a week saturday so I may as well wait for that. Hopefully after the ride, the credit card fairy will strike!
