"A DYSLEXIC postman drove 35 miles to dump his mail because he could not read the addresses on the envelopes."

How did he get through the interview and employment procedure? I mean, that's the question, isn't it?

I reckon you're much better off not putting a stamp on anything as then at least the letter is noted and has to be accounted for.

Just think how many letter get sent every day, how many get there on time, and all for 31p. I think that the royal mail do a fantastic job, only to be spoilt by some muppets...just like any job really.

Beggars belief really - it's part of all the 'pink & fluffy' thing. People today are too scared to say NO in case someone takes offence and sues them - it's easier to say "Yup - crack on...I know your as much use as a one legged man at an @rse kicking party but hey, we've got a job for you!"

End of rant.

Muppet. If he'd told Royal Mail that he had a learning disability, and if he had any sense, he could have taken them to court under the Disability Discrimination Act for failing to make a reasonable adjustment, not the other way around!

Sadly my mates little brother did the same thing. Yep he was a posty and decided that his managers rudness to him was reson enough for him to go and dump all his post.

For those of you who hate the Royal Mail as much as i do you'll be pleased to hear they do something about it.

He got a YEAR in jail. And it was his first ever offence. And no easy open prison either as he was in Brixton for the first third of his sentance.

I was really gutted to hear this news as his brother was crying down the phone as he told me about it, but at the end of the day if you have a problem with your employer take it up with them and what he did was unnacceptable imo.

Sometimes people just dont think about what they are doing but to go for a job knowing you are dyslexic and could well have problems in this job due to that. Well sorry but hes a muppet.
