M621 Bandit rider knocked off - SV650.org

Hi,

I was going to work this morning when I saw the aftermath of an accident. Police were there but it was a rider I think have I have seen before on the M62 in a morning... A dark Green Bandit naked. Poor guy seemed to have been side swiped by a silver people carrier Merc. Hope he is alright....

Anyone know him?

Thing is as I went past in the queue behind the accident someone did the same to me but I managed to pull the brakes hard enough for him to miss me... Scary moments. How can people not see a bike with headlights on and when I can see him in his mirrors... Some people...

Anyway if you know him pass on my regards.

every chance iv seen him on the road, but not sure, what ttime was this?

that road is mostly a 50, but people just dont stick to it.

Well I came past at 7:30 and it had been a while as there were police and an ambulance and stuff... So I assume it was probably about 7am.

I mean you can easily do a ton on both the 62 and the 621. I have a couple of people at work that have powerful cars that travel each day at 120mph plus when it is clear.. (not that often though)

But it is just too dangerous to travel that fast in flowing traffic!

oh eh what junction i join at junction 1 and get of at 7, and was on therre at about 7.20? didnt see anything!

what bike you on have seen a couple svs on there b 4, i drive a burgandy p reg escort.. u see me give me a wave!

I have a blue 53 plate SV. I wear a blue and silver helmet with blue jacket (or my CBR leathers) but for work normally just wear some all weather overalls on top of my work wear.

Must have happened just afer 20 past then.... I was at Birstall junction junction 27 of M62 and junction 1 on M621. I drive from 606 to 62 to junction 3 on 621.

15 miles to work... Just enough time to have a nice blast without getting too hot and worked up!
