Default Reccomend me an exhaust

Fancy an aftermarket exhaust |(road legal) for my curvy.
I'm really after a nice sound more than anything.
Ideally I don't want to re-jet.

I was going to go for the Scorpion, but haveing had a bit of a search, one or two people have said they're a bit "raspy", I was really after "fruity"

I would like to go for a full system but fear this might be too pricy (Demon Tweaks quoted me £620 for an Akrapovic full system, not really worth it on a £2000 bike) so it will probably be just a can.

There are loads of cans out there some a bit more harsh than others, given the "road legal" restriction you're never going to get the full big bike sound (although removeable baffles give you the legal stamp, but once removed are also illegal).

but for that "fruity" sound in a legal can would have to be the Renegade, not the cheapest I know, but you can always hear one coming.

Cheers Mark.

Hindle is another one that has the 'fruity' sound to it. Also not cheap BUT it is more unusual. Thor has one fitted to his SV and it sounds beautiful.

The hindle is cheap for a full system!

It definately had the fruity sound to begin with, but now the packing is getting thinner its getting a bit harsher. Either way, it's well loud. Certainly *NOT* legal.

Anyways, mine is a pointy. I don't know if they do curvys.

From what I can tell from their website they don't, which is a shame.

Renegade is looking favorite at the moment, looks like a hassle getting it welded up at the Renegade factory though.

After much deliberation I have gone for a Remus with a removable baffle.

Just hope it's "fruity" enough, not looking forward to taking an angle grinder to my baby to fit it though !

You could try Remus, i have a Revolution GP carbon can (complete with baffle!!) and it sounds great..... Deep and loud without being illegal. Will probably remove the baffle though.....another few decibels isn't going hurt now is it.
