Default Blond questions about a blond SV (k1)

Right, I've had th pride & joy a week now & realise that there's the odd question that I probably should've asked the girl I bought it off.

Off the top of my head:

1. How do I do that re-setting the mileage thing to zero after filling up so I've got a rough idea of when I next need to refuel.
2. Are those definitley miles on the speedo not kilometres.
3. Approx miles to a full tank?
4. I can't seem to find the reserve tank switch on my bike.

I figure that as I've only had the bike a week, I can get away with asknig these questions on here!

Anyone able to help me.

Ta muchly.

1. Hold the button down for a secound or 2
2. Dunno
3. 120 or so to the fuel light, maybe more maybe less depending how you ride it.
4. Thats cos there isn't one, it has a fuel light that comes on when there's a couple of litres left in the tank.

Don't take this as gospel, cos my curvy hasn't been out the garage for a year i ride a pointy.

I'm not awake yet

Can't answer point 1

2...........unless it's an import will be miles

3...........we get around 150 miles to a tankful on our curvy

3............there's no reserve switch.

Hope that helps.

You'll get more help if you post this in the right place.

Please no bike talk in idle banter.

going on my curvy I'd say:

resetting the mileage counter after you fill up you just hold the selector button.

As for miles you would have to compare the next answer...

I would get anything from 125 - 150 miles to the full tank.

And there is in reserve tank on the sv so no reserve switch.

There are also 2 different fuel lights just so you're aware.

The light starts to flash when you're getting low on fuel, ie into reserve, then when it stays on constantly you need to be refilling within about 10 miles. I don't tend to push it this far into the reserve, flashing light usually indicates me to fill up.

oh and another thing, the curvey faired bikes have 2 trip counters (ODO1&2) which can be reset seperatly (e.g. between fillups, total journey). Single press of the button will change it between the 3 settings (total counter, ODO1, ODO2). I beleave that the nakid only has ODO1 & total counter.
