Default Tail Tidy - Hamicad vs Evotech

I've been searching the forum looking for recommendations on a Tail Tidy.

It seems to come down to two, the Hamicad or the Evotech.

The Hamicad seems to be the forum favourite despite the fact that it leaves small holes and the number-plate light shows too much white light to those behind.

On the other hand the Evotech has only a few reviews on here, but all the reviews are entirely positive. Can any Evotech owners out there mention any problems they've found? Does it leave holes? How is the number plate light?

Cheers,

marc

Hi matey!

Me got Evotech one!

No holes left,No.Plate light OK,Build quality superb!

My only critisism, and it is a tiny one,is that I had to fit washers to the Indicator stud so they were a tighter fit to the bracket.

Well easy to fit with all the instructions.

Pukka bit of kit, well pleased with mine.

Evotech here as well, no problems either - had to do the washer thing as well but had a couple just the right size...

Anyone got the one from Tuning-for-Bikes? I like the option of the bolt on reflector extension for MOT time.

Got the Evotech fitted this weekend.

I'm well impressed, build quality excellent, no holes left (it comes with a neoprene piece to seal the undertray), number plate light is angled perfectly.

I had no need for Washers too, indicators are plenty tight.

I'm well pleased, thoroughly recommended.

Speedy,

Is there any chance you could upload some larger pics of the fixing of the back plate and tail plate on the bike.

Cheers
