does anyone know of any sites for turbos or what do u recommend for performance upgrades on sv650?? are there engine swaps so u can put a gixxer motor in ??

I would think it would be difficult bolting a turbo on due to the shape of a twin however www.bigccracing.com would be your best bet. They may be able to help. As regards slotting a gixxer engine into the frame.... why not buy a gixxer..... (says the man who wants gixxer forks!)

Have a search this has been covered plenty of times. You want to be looking for posts by Northwind and or 21Quest.
I doubt you'll get a GSXR motor in there, unless your prepared to do a lot of work, then you'll need to upgrade the brakes and suspension to to cope with the extra power. IMHO its just not worth it. if you want more power buy a bigger bike.

you can apparently get a TL engine in the curvy SV650, but it involves cutting chunks out of the frame so it fits, and then you have a bike that cost as much as a TLS, but isn't nearly as well braked, or suspended

GSXR motor just won't fit, it's about half again as wide... If you want a GSXR, get one, I knopw it sounds unhelpful but you can get an SRAD 600 for about the price of a tidy SV these days, and though they're older tech they're closer to today's GSXR than an SV with a GSXR motor shoehorned in... You can make an SV quicker, but it's much more expensive than just upgrading bike, the only reason I've done it to mine is that I liked the SV as a package, and just got rid of the bad bits. Just about any GSXR would still take it apart in a straight line, but that's not what it's for
