Default Bleeding Master Cylinder

Heard it mentioned on here a few times, but wondering how this is done? I take it that it involves using the banjo bolt which attaches to the brake lever however theres no nipple to bleed it with.

you can do it by just undoing the banjo bolt whilst you squeeze the brake lever and tightening the bango up again just before you reach the full travel of the brake lever and then repeat as necessary. As long as your squeezing the lever fluid/air will be coming out and you wont be introducing more air into the system.

its messy this way tho so be prepared for spilling lots of nasty corrosive brake fluid.

for a cleaner operation you can buy banjo bolts that already have bleed nipples fitted and swap the bajo bolt on your master cylinder for one of these
or buy a posher master cylinder with a bleed nipple already fitted.

I am assuming you have just changed the Fluid.

To be honest if you are worried about trapped air at the master cylinder I would try tieing back the lever over night first as this allow the bubbles to rise naturally. This worked very well for me a couple of weeks ago.

Bleeding the banjo is going to be very messy!!

Hope this helps.
