Default Anyone used Mr Pigs?

Looking at getting my 4000 (ish ) mile service done at Mr Pigs soon, anyone used him before? heard a few good reports so far, it just seems the suzuki dealers in the NW aren't too keen.

I haven't used Mr Pigs for servicing the bikes but have known him for years and he's a good bloke. I know plenty of people who won't take their bikes anywhere else now after using him including someone at my work, if that's any indication of how good he is. He's very thorough and does a cracking job. If my hubby didn't service my bikes for me I would go there.

I had my bike serviced by Mr. Pig (Ian) a month ago. Not cheap but quality work. Mine was £324 for 8k service on my hornet including plugs, and break pads replacement. 6 hrs labour. He has my vote. PM me if you want to know more.

Have a look at a previous post I made regarding this chap:

http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=76548

'A' is Mr. Pigs, 'B' is Motorcycle Maintenance Company, now in Leigh.

I decided to stick with MMC but while I was at Mr. Pigs he did compare, in all seriousness, bike maintenance to making love ( I **** you not ) so it might be worth a visit if only for a laugh.

If people are happy with his work and what he charges then all power to you, personally this is a problem I no longer face as my bike now only go in for tyres and valve clearances.

not sure that is much as it included balancing carbs, replacing brake discs, oil, filters etc. 4k will cost close to nothing! If I were you I would just pop in. He will tell it to you straight. You like it you go ahead. You don't and you leave.

What's puzzling me is that all you lot are in manchester and I've never seen any of you... So anyway.

If you see a red raptor with loudish cans, or a pink hornet (maroon) give us a wave.
