My dad works for a Uni, and does a lot of work outside of the office. However the IT department have decided to network everything. For him to open microsoft office he has to do it through the network! It takes aaages to download and install every time, and means he can't work on trains/planes etc. Why oh why would they do this? (the new system won't allow him to open his pre-existing installation of Office)
