Grr.. tank bras.. stupid powersellers
I messed up and bid on a half tank bra while wanting to get a full one.
So... "Hey, may I please retract my bid? I misunderstood the description; I thought it was a full tank cover not a half one." Response from fs-worldwide: "i am curious to know, what kind of a tank bra are you looking for if this one isnt it. as far as i know this is the only size bra that they make for this bike, but i am not sure, and they just call it a half bra for whatever reason" 3k sales I figured he meant the half one is the full one and jumped the gun: "If your claim is that it covers the whole thing and not half of the tank, I will buy the item now. Thanks" Of course after that I get the clarification: "no it just covers the back side of the tank toward the rider, i dont think that i have ever seen one that covers the whole tank, what would be the reason for that" Grrrr.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Targa...spagenameZWD1V Oh well, no big deal only cost me 25 bucks... just wanted to cover up a minor dent on the side and protect the rest of the paint but whatever... >.< Last edited by veraliar; 19-07-07 at 05:16 AM. |

I've seen one cover the whole tank
 Someone was selling their bike on here and they had a full one on!

Nope, the VS is the custom bike also known as the Intruder...... oh dear, mistake #2, LOL!!.

Nothing in the advert says half...
If you want a full tank cover look at Baglux Bagster tank covers. |

Bagster covers cover the whole thing... Tank bras, on the other hand, just cover the back while looking rubbish. I've got one, for a curvy, if you want it, I used it while I was respraying.
