Hmm. Well, I'd say the pallet doubles the value
![]() Seriously, what you have to do is find out exactly what's damaged, which is going to be quite a lot, and find out what it'll cost, then find out how much the straight bits are worth. Selling it as is will probably be the worst of the options, damaged bikes really don't get a good price- someone else will be counting on fixing it up, or breaking it, and either way they'll want to make a profit which comes out of your hide. On teh other hand, you never get as much for parting out a bike as you'd expect, even though the parts have a lot of value as a whole, you end up sending individual bits to dozens of people and the postage adds up, not to mention the time. If the frame and engine are straight, you can fix it...

Well I don't wish to make myself sound like a vulture but if you do decide to sell in some capacity have you got a power-commander? If you have and presuming it survived I'll have it off ya.

why arnt you going the insurance route? TPF+T insurance? that would cost alot to put right, i'd break it and sell the bits putting the cash towards a new bike. glad your ok.

I had a similarly damaged bike. Took me new forks, wheel, tyre, rearsets and can and now it works. Radiator was bent but holds water, same for tank. It is not a looker now, but it works still and the new can and tyres mean that I am enjoying it more than ever.
