Huskies arn't the best of pets. You will need to be at home with it nearly all the time because they get bored really easily, and they get destructive.
Also, you can't take them off the lead because they will run off. We were considering one, but a white German Shepherd was the more practical alternative. |

Some of your post is wrong there mate -they make great pets, take it from me with a growing young family -any k9 left on its lonesome will become bored and find amusement in its own way, a dog should never be kept on its own as by its nature they are a pack animal and to keep one in solitude is cruel. I can let kia off the lead with no probs, a few mates who have huskies also can let them off with no probs.Only problems arise when they get a whiff of another animal , but thats the same as any dog that gets near a horse, sheep etc. husky ![]() |

I was considering a Husky or a Malamute. Absolutely gorgeous. Had an Alsatian before. But we ended up with a Mastiff cos... well... its bigger

I love huskies and malamutes. But the only thing that puts me off Huskies is that they seem to be more hyper than Bob The Dog
![]() I think I'm more of a greyhound person, they're like cats.. sleep, eat, sleeep, short brisk walk...sleeeeeep. I'd have half a dozen of them if I didn;t have cats. My sons godfather has had a pack of greyhounds for years and I've grown quite fond of them and their quirky antics.
