Good to meet you both Paws and Niz (and Lucas again)!

I really enjoyed it alot and almost glad it rained a bit as otherwise it would have been really uncomfortable being in leathers all day long!

I honestly didn't expect to be able to pull a stopie on my SV but I managed it!

The track riding part was immense. Really enjoyed that, even though I had an almost brown trousers moment as I'd forgotten how crap the SV brakes are when you're doing over the ton mark. Now I just need to find the funds for a track bike + transit van now!

PS. Turns out I was only 80miles from Silverstone. For some reason I thought it was further!

Now look who's considering giving up ok just road riding only though and not the whole shebang!

You wanna do an Advanced Cornering course in Donington Park? I'm there in two weeks.

Can't blame me for freaking out. I wiped out at the bloody chicane last year! At least Im a lot better now

£300?!?!?!

For that reason, I'm out!

The big chicane was really fun to blast through today, the little one near the pit entrance was not so much!

I met a couple of people who've done the course and they've raved about it so it'd better be freakin worth it!

Dunno what chicane but I had fun all over. Pegs scraped and no wipeouts. Aces. Being a shortie I have no hope of kneedown now

Nice one!

I also had my toe scrapping (with toes on pegs properly, not commuter style) so if I'd wanted to I could have got the knee down. I really wasn't focussing on getting it down though, I just wanted to hold reasonably good lines.

I found the stoppie *ahem, "extreme braking" bit really useful for the track. I finally know how hard I can pull the lever now. Did wonders for the third track session for me. Much less reliance on engine braking now.
