Good to meet you both Paws and Niz (and Lucas again)!
I really enjoyed it alot and almost glad it rained a bit as otherwise it would have been really uncomfortable being in leathers all day long! I honestly didn't expect to be able to pull a stopie on my SV but I managed it! The track riding part was immense. Really enjoyed that, even though I had an almost brown trousers moment as I'd forgotten how crap the SV brakes are when you're doing over the ton mark. Now I just need to find the funds for a track bike + transit van now! ![]() PS. Turns out I was only 80miles from Silverstone. For some reason I thought it was further! £300?!?!?!
For that reason, I'm out! ![]() The big chicane was really fun to blast through today, the little one near the pit entrance was not so much! |

Dunno what chicane but I had fun all over. Pegs scraped and no wipeouts. Aces. ![]() ![]() |

I also had my toe scrapping (with toes on pegs properly, not commuter style) so if I'd wanted to I could have got the knee down. I really wasn't focussing on getting it down though, I just wanted to hold reasonably good lines. |

I found the stoppie *ahem, "extreme braking" bit really useful for the track. I finally know how hard I can pull the lever now. Did wonders for the third track session for me. Much less reliance on engine braking now.
