looks nice! I got one waiting to be fitted too!

are you fitting it to a curvy or pointy? asking because on the curvy, there is a metal plate that holds the battery in place (the metal plate is part of the tank hinge), which may foul the angle reservoir. Any had problems with it? I got a angle cut and not afraid to use it

cheers

You got a late GSXR shock for curvy? What is spring rate and length like compared?

Yes for some shocks you have to chop tank bracket part off (for SRAD750 shock)

I know mate, I was gonna suggest we buy two to save on the postage, but my local guy will source me one at cost and maybe even cheaper than Robinsons (is that where you got yours from in the end?).

Unfortunately not. The top edge of the battery ends up against the seat, and the seat can't be replaced. You could always hack a bit off the seat to make it work, but with the slimmer battery it all fits perfectly. If you're wary of putting a smaller battery into the bike (it does have a slightly lower capacity than stock), you can use a YB14B-BS instead of the YB12B-BS. You can also buy a cheap brand YB14B-BS, as the CCA of it is going to be miles more than the SV needs, whereas if you're getting a YB12B-BS you need to buy a decent (Yuasa/Varta etc.) one.

However, bear in mind that this is an install using a 636 B1H shock. If you've got a different one to put in the modifications may be different.

I have had C1H shock and GSXR750-SRAD one fitted with stock battery.
