aye, they are top tyres mate, i had them on my CBR, then a changed to aa BT010 and BT020 combo which is still pretty damn good.

yeah, there top boys in motorcycle tyres, highly recommend em.

the BT014's wont let you down.

when you down there mervin, why not try and blag us a site discount

if your concerned about how long they will last, why not go for the BT020 rear ? its a tourers tyre, hard in the centre and softer on the sides, so you can get the grip cornering.
but tell you the truth, i would have gone for the rear 014 if i had a bit more dollar

Nice one. Just checked my front and theres 1000 miles still left in it so I'll get the rear done this week on its own.

Getting a new front installed this weekend (got a new rear a couple of weeks ago) The great thing about the 014 compared to the 010 is the treads are spaced further apart now, so there is no more "cupping" on the fronts. Not sure how warm it gets over there in the summer, but extended sustained speeds of 75 mph + on a hot day, in a straight line, do very bad things to 014's...... As far as grip, they are wicked!!! Haven't been able to make em misbehave (and I have tried lemme tell ya!!)

I'm curious to know whether anyone on here has ever had truely awful tyres?

Maybe I just ride like a pansy but I've had the OE D220s, D208s, BT-010s, BT-014s and now I have Pirelli Diablos.

They've all been satisfactory. I rode to Spain and back on the D208s and they were ace.

The Diablos are great too. The only noticeable difference has been the width of the chicken strips, can't lose them on the Diablos, nor the Bridgestones I had but they were completely gone on the Dunlops.

The rear 014 only lasted 4000miles mind and I remember the 220s felt a bit 'odd' over white lines.

man yea those standard tyres that came on my K4. The dealer described them as "hard". White lines in the wet were incredibly serious with those
