Suzuki Grease Phobia in bearings - Important please read!

I've got a better one for you. I took yokes off an SV with about 1000 miles and found barely any grease (no surprise you might say) but the best present was machining swarf, that was left in there too ......what a lovely gesture by Suzuki

Oh also recently took a shock off an SV650 with about 8,000 miles and same situation as you.

In my opinion, the Japanese Motorcycle industry budget for grease in one tin per year & THEY SHARE IT!!

well it is if you want to describe a lubricant of higher initial viscosity than oil, consisting originally of a calcium, sodium or lithium soap jelly emulsified with mineral oil.

Didnt leave it to late bought it with 15,000mls on it. so general concensus is even if you have a brand new bike get all the bearing regreased pronto lol.
