Don't old bikes look odd at the back end - massive seat units sticking out beyond the rear tyre.

Wouldn't say no to the road-going RC45 - about the only Honda I'd vaguely like to own.

The road-going RC45 and the NR750 look intact. The rest are all display bikes and barely worth looking at.

Doesn't make it bad......just uneconomical to produce on a mass market scale.

Thats like saying a Wankel engine is pants because it uses more fuel and oil than a conventional engine....

Which isn't the case, the wankel is a far better engine....

If anything, it was good to see Honda back then "pushing the boat out" with technology on motorcycles. From memory, a lot of info from the NR was used on modern sportsbikes that we have today. Don't ask me what though. But the NR was a step forward in technology for bikes.

Bit like a veyron, theres faster, better handling, cheaper, better cars about, but that doesn't denote that the veyron is an engineering marvel, vastly overpriced, but still bought.....

Research it.

Far less moving parts, less to go wrong. Far more effecient than a conventional engine.
