I made bacon sandwiches at work this morning.

Tiger rolls, buttered, with two slices in each. Heinz ketchup. Beautiful.

im a lover of the tiger bread, but i think its got a pretty strong taste of its own and may taint the bacon sarnie experience..! might have to try it at t' weekend

Unsmoked back bacon, pref with rind cooked so is crispy.

Brown sliced bread. Marge on both bits of bread. Brown sauce. 3 bits of bacon per 2 rounds of bread.

It does indeed give a different flavour to the sandwich Mr D. We went up to Tesco's and bought some pretty cheapo bacon so I think the tiger bread enhanced it. If you had really good bacon it would probably be a shame to taint it with the tiger bread. It would be like having 50 year old malt whisky with a lamb madras.
