If fitting from S sub loom there are already 2 H4 connectors, you need to splice sidelight or fit it into whatever connector comes already with the dominators.
If going from naked, you plug the male conector you have hold of in top pic into H4 connector on stock loom, you then need to cut your stock sidelight bulb and fit some female connectors to match dominator ones, or some spades of right size to connect with OEM fitting to the dominators sidelight fitting. Yes, on top pic, the connectors on the right power the sidelight. I'm not sure for MOT, I think you need one sidelight, I don't think it matters which side. But I'm not too sure.

Hey, I am currently installing these exact headlights on my SVS which has 2 H4 plugs for the front headlights. I take it I just need to connect the dominators up to one of these sockets and I can get rid of the other one?

Yes just hide the plug somewhere, or better plug your 2 wires straight onto the bulbs.

Never ride in the night, never will if possible.
take it they are not good in the dark. Had them wired up and they seemed pretty damn bright to me. R Last edited by srobrien; 24-02-12 at 05:16 PM. |
