No because you don't send your licence away once your 33bhp ends! They take it off once they get your licence back for another reason, like change of pic, address, name etc.

Would the A2 bit not go down as historic entitlement?

Seems a bit odd if it does not in there since insurance companies ask how long you've held a license for.

So DVLA database will say she is legal to fly a 747 or pilot a containership into Kowloon harbor but not ride a C90 then

the DVLA did say that on their test screen it shows I've passed in 05/05 so I should be safe - its just strange otherwise

Sounds like a worry if you only had motorcycle entitlement and so after 2 yrs of 33bhp the police thought you were still on only 6 points entitlement before you lost your licence for another 2 yrs.

No, the database shows everything. It will show the A2 as an historic entitlement and I think her counterpart may also show but it won't on the photocard.

It's not an issue. The database will show you were on a restricted licence for 2 years before you get your A entitlement.

So the people who lost their bike entitlement after renewing their licences ( cos DVLA c0cked up ) could have it reinstated via the database? This includes long-standing Police mechanic.
Why did they get it SO wrong when it's their database?

I don't really understand your question.

Quedos didn't lose her entitlement on her licence, they changed it from showing A2 to it showing her A and it shows the date of her recieving her A class from the date she was no longer restricted...

Yup they show the new date from when your unrestricted entitlement begins. On your counterpart it will show the date you passed your test and gained 33bhp entitlement.
