Not much if you shop around at renewal, but some companies will nail you for it if you declare them mid-policy.

Best bang for buck:
Cam swap
Bored out TBs
Exhaust system
Air filter

You are talking serious mods to get 100bhp. Do it


Not that I like it when people tell you what to do when asking a simple question, but just to stick my oar in, suspension is everything. Will make you MUCH faster than engine mods. I have full M4, JHS stage 2 cams, BMC filter, probably 80+bhp. If I was to start again I would buy a race shock and GSXR front FIRST and worry about loud cans and other stuff later.

Suspension upgrade, good rubber and big gahoonas is the equation for fast SV riding. BHP is a bonus

You'd add enough gas to destroy the engine and still get murdered in every way by guys on £1000 worth of old missile.
