For the same volume, there is as much sugar in Orange Juice than in Regular Coke.

Ok so its Natural Fructose rather than Refined Sugar, but its still sugar.

Oh and there is even more sugar in Apple Juice.

So if I take on-board all the do's and don't's that get published year on year I'd be left sucking a carrot and drinking from a puddle in the road.

Look at how long many of our grandparents and great grandparents lived and the diets/lifestyles they had.

Pineapple juice is the worst one, has the strongest citric acids and is the absolute worst for your teeth.

I steer fairly well clear of fizzies, I have the odd bit of lemonade with a dilute fruity squash drink to make a pint more interesting but drinking a full pint of fizz would knock me for six, not to mention the amount of gas! Coca cola makes me bounce off the ceilings, when I was younger I didn't need alcohol

I much prefer fruity juices but they cost a bit much these days so wait till the better ones are on offer and treat myself. My problem is not drinking enough, anything is better than nothing when I remember, it's usually tea or dilute squash, water if I'm out and about.

Coffee is bad for you,tea is bad for you, fizzy drinks are bad for you, mixers are bad for you, wine is bad for you, beer is bad for you, spirits are bad for you.

I have been bad all my life as I have a least three of the above every day
I AM DOOMED----DOOMED I TELL YE

Lets add that if you drink enough water it will kill you.

Life is about moderation,a little bit of what you fancy but not to excess and I could not drink the recommended 8 glasses of water a day. I have seen some people spend a small fortune on drinking bottled water which to me is the biggest rip off of the lot

Fizzy drinks somehow soften your teeth, I grit my teeth when I wear my bike helmet for some reason and the dentist see's it straight away!

Surely something that softens teeth in such a way should not be consumed..

Edit: Not read all of that article but did America not put a ban on the sale of Coke Zero? If America bans anything consumable, it must be bad!

Moderation is the answer.I think you can eat or drink almost anything as long as you dont overdo it.Maybe not cyanide but you get my drift.

Clean your teeth yes, but not straight after fruit juice or fizzy drinks, even diet ones was the advice given by my dentist. The brushing while the acid remains on your teeth does them a world of harm.

Skimmed milk is the answer.

Though I love proper coke, have sugar in my coffee and as I type this I am eating a bowl of Coco Pops.
