Take it easy down that stretch of the A1 matey. I've seen a few bikers nearly come off down there. If you've got a dark visor just look at them, it's so intimidating.

Do you have mini indicators on your bike? (Think i might have seen you on that stretch of road a few times)

That's why you do your lifesavers!

Actually I reckon most guys with more serious motors, like Porsches and Ferraris are actually pretty good drivers - maybe because they are much more interested in vehicles, and driving in general, than the average car driver. It's the chavved up Nova brigade that always seem to be a nightmare on the roads!

I am not so sure, coming down the M1 I have had no end of trouble from high end sports cars that want to try it on. Even when I have a pillion (the wife) on the back, I actually have a mental list of number plates from cars that stuck on my ****, or the classic, they pull by me than cut me up and slam on the brakes!

I just filter by them in traffic.

Actually in retrospec that does not happen all the time, but still!

Mind you there is a guy in a Auston Martin DB9 that I see fairly often, that guy seems to actively watch out for bikes and always gives a wave (a rare nice guy).

I guess I am just a little paranoid on the M1.

Cheers

Rich

If you think the odd fast motor on the Mway 'trying it on' is annoying, spare a though for me.

Where I live on the border of Surrey there seems to be a huge number of tossers in 'proper' cars, ie Porsche, Lambos, Ferrari, Astons.. (Millionaires playground and all that).

I'm a really laid back bloke but find it really hard not to react some times when they try it on. Get it much too often.

Usually I just want a nice easy ride or I might be commuting to work!, ....I'm normally really sensible..honest.

my mate once got some grief from an old bloke who pulled out to stop him filtering so he stoved the door panel in with this heavy boots.

The trouble is if you did that every time your boots wouldn't last very long these days. !

Yer this happens but its best to ignore it and carry on and stay calm, as alot of accidents happen just after some incident like nearly hitting a car and because they are worked up dont concentrate.

Even so its always good to give em the finger and a couple of revs before going on your way
