Excellant.
So, thats the Skerries 100, the North West 200, the TTs, the rugby, and now the bleeding World Cup I am missing.

I cant even watch a quick frame of snooker. Christ help me I miss Ronnie O'Sullivan. I would even settle for a beery afternoon watching england getting beaten at cricket at the beer garden.

Why America?
Why The SuperBowl? Its not interesting. Why NASCAR? Why FIGURE SKATING?

Edit. Oh yeah. Nice wheely. Fair play.

Hehe - I did think that when we were travelling up to Heysham - the bike was nearly going home! You will have to tell you Dad thats another two things I have tallied up on it - drag racing and the TT - its one well travelled bike!

Does anyone know what the Skerries 100 is?

I am booked to fly back over there in 2 weeks time when the skerries is on (to see a certain young lady that I met while out there (securing a FREE place to 2007!))

Will be good to see the Island with out so many bikes and people! May even build up the courage to go on the ancient tram through the mountains!

Just found out the Skerries are in Ireland.... And I call myself a biker!!!!!

i went to with courdelion and some scotish savages, anh just kidding, all good lads

saw a lot of SV's, but didnt get passed by any on my 1200 kwak ) , you can throw em round the bends, but they drop back straight after, was coming round joeys and having trouble keeping up with a yellow curvy with a top box on though , it was manx though,
there are some seriously fast boys over there, you have to be SOOOOO careful the mountain is not a place to make mistakes, you think your going real hard and then whoooshh, some one comes flying past with the bike on its side and all you can say is wibble then next corner your behind a 20mph ice cream van, mad sunday is just that mad, but if you can reign it in and ride at your own pace your as safe as you can be, you just have to resist the temptation to follow the corner gods, and watch out for the traffic cops you will find nowhere in the world that is better equiped or more ready to pull you, and they are everywhere.... do a lap steady to see where they are and come back round? this time theyve moved somewhere else they seroiusly know what theyre doing.

i know. prosecution pending

Skerries is good fun.
I didnt realise that you brits werent au fait with it. Its not very glam or bling, but, I dunno, the people there are proper salt of the earth biker types.

Like, imagine hoards of Sid Squids milling around, drinking, eating chips and batter burgers and talking about bikes.

On second thoughts that might be a bit scary. Emm. Just trust me. You'll like it.

Oh yeah. If you hate the smell of cabbages, you might want to watch it. For some reason Skerries smells like cabbages.
