I work closely with the Plod every day,and a little wave or nod becomes a habit.It does lead to some strange looks when I inadvertantly do it when not at work though.

I think the point of his post is to get 1,000 people on this site doing it , then he's more likely to come across a policeman who's had a nod from a biker.
Stu, not at all, the more people that do it, the less likely my theory will work Like my opening line said, it made me giggle so I figured I'd share it in IB.

fraser, being in North Wales, I see traffic police a lot (as in minimum 3 or 4 cars each way to work & back). There can only be so many of you... :P

As per robchester's comment, a police biker IMO is in a different category to those that drive the V70's & Omegas etc. Be the rightly or wrongly, they are. I'm not saying they enforce the law any differently, just my view of them. I nod/wave at police bikers all the time, and get the same in return. It was just the van driver looking a little worried & supprised that got me
