They probably won't be the cheapest but they are friendly and I trust them with my bike. I know one of the mechanics and he's a very decent chap.

Yeah, but its crazy we don't have any other choice of tyre dealer. All down to price I guess.

If its going to cost me more I'm cutting off my nose to spite my face.

Ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I somone/place p*sses you off , well you either put up or shut up. I'm with you Doc, I'll not deal with places who've p*ssed me off, paying extra is somtimes the only option but faith in a job well done is worth it

What tyres do you run on the Beemer Rich? All About Bikes should be able to get good deals on Avons as they are a dealer for them. I got some Metzeler Z6's from them and they were more expensive than the average, but I don't mind as I feel I can trust them and I'm supporting an idependent shop.

I have also had issues with Pro-Tyre and wouldn't touch 'em with a barge pole! (Though I'm sure other people have been happy etc. etc. )

Just last week I used the services of "All about Bikes" for the first time.
Can't fault the work at all, and they seem on the level - what more do you need?

They cover bristol, there's no call-out fee only a 1hour minimum labour charge (£27.50) - maybe overkill for fitting a tyre but at least you won't have to mess around removing wheels and can bag the best online tyre bargain you can find.

When I need some work done I'm going to give them a try.
- I called, and not as cheap as I was led to believe.

I'm sure John and his team would if they read this. But I agree, credit where it's due.
