Well you could all head down to Alton cafe?

Why dont you pop down the A3 turn off for Bordon, before you enter Bordon take a right at the roundabout (Liphook Lane), into Hollywater and go to the Royal Oak pub. Landord rides a Suzuki, he's called Jim...great place to go for a cheap drink, decent food...oh and this Friday night he has a fab band called Lemon Pie playing (covers Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Pink Floyd etc)

These suggestions are getting further away from Guildford!!! hehe

We have other members further north than Guildford so not sure, up to them if it's alright or not.

Wednesday night at Alton cafe (in Alton station carpark) then back to the Poachers as suggested by Dan for last week. Mind you, there will be a lot of bikers there so given the frequency of folk turning up in cars not sure it's a good idea. Not sure which Wednesday hosts the Lord Derby, but that's one Wednesday or other each month and is the other end of the road from Alton to the Poacher..

And anyway why should it be in Guildford. Surely somewhere that's a nice ride from Guildford is a far better idea otherwise you end up going just down the road and it's hardly worth getting the bike out.

Doubt I'll be able to make it anyway but for those that have never been the Alton meet is worth a visit. If the queue for bacon butties is too long there's a chippy just before the station.

I agree we'll have to do Alton/Lord Derby sometime.

It's just wet and cold this week and I'm really not in the mood for much, can't even be bothered taking the bike out or even cleaning it.

What about changing it to Thursday - weathers better then... not that i am likely to make it - to darn busy with work.

Agreed if this is looking like a Guildford Central one.
And Mark has already suggested the following Wed out of Guildford as Alton & that's the monthly Lord Derby (1st Wed of Month) Dan is back then so might suit him.
