All meet at one end, 2 days, fancy dress, no M/ways or A roads?

Some pre-agreed stop off points for people to check in, sure. But "Everyone meeting in the middle" is a pipe dream, there will be a 2 hour window between first and last by then I'd be pretty sure.

Could be fun though, I'd do the trip in a day to say I had. Adding fake boobs to my back really wouldn't be an issue
I'd be in...am only an hour or so from Lands End!

Have a holiday home in sennen cove (lands end), would be ideal for me depending on the direction taken!

Must say its something I've been considering for a while now aswell, was going to organise some sort of charity run from JoG to LE for me and a couple of mates who were interested. Never materialised into anything though due to funds and time really. Jesters idea is the best though and was what we were going to do - no motorways, that way then any partners/friends/colleagues who are still on L-plates can come along and boost numbers.

Love to do it, need notice though and probably summer would be best...the bike might be back together by then. I'd have to do it for the charity my girlfriend works for, as long as thats ok I'm in.

carlos .... i agree jesters idea is the best, i just thought its going to be a hell of a trek to the start point, if you are at the other end of the country

its going to take a fair bit of organising just doing the one group......... i was just thinking out loud

maybe we need a poll to see where the best start point is?

Does anyone know how many people would be needed to get into the record books?

I'd only be happy to do it if I do the full journey, otherwise I'd feel like I'd only done half a job if you see what I mean. Also, if you do from one end to the other you can join the Endtoend club so can't be all bad.

As far as being miles to either start point I don't mind too much as being close to the start means being further away from the finish, and vice versa, and besides the video of the route they show at Lands End goes only 2 miles away from my house (ok its the M5 and hopefully wouldn't take that particular road but you get the jist).

Whether I do it or not depends on dates though more than anything. Next year is going to be a bit strange with new jobs and stuff so can't commit to anything, not even the AR08 at the moment
