Just been past our local petrol station and so far all looks suprisingly normal. Ive got about £50 in the van and £10 in the bike so im not stressin when it runs out it runs out.
Has anyone else noticed how little you get for £10 now!! i but a tenner in the fazer the other day and registered on the gauge as just over half a tank! GULP!

Sorry - the strike will affect 3 weeks of production I should have said.

It is really selfish, people just buy like crazy to make sure they have some themselves. I am not filling up, just taking it easy.

Alot of the petrol station up here (scotland) have put either a £10 or £20 restriction on what you can put in your tank!!! Me laughing infact anyone with a bike is laughing, one tank of petrol gets me too and from work for over a month!!!

It took Hitlers navy years to nearly reduce this country to the shambles we see here,but only a two day strike at Grangemouth which hasnt actually started yet to do the same.
Thats progress I suppose.

Ill go for just before the border on the A68 Carter Bar, (England side) ?1.30 Petrol, ?1.35 Diesel. I could have sworn I saw the cashier wearing a mask and waving her pistol at me.

Al this fuel shortage cr@p is doing my head in... was forced to use my car for a few days this week since all the local garages has been run dry Sun/Monday. There is plenty fuel to go round between the storage at Kinneil, and the Finnart terminal on Kitty's wibbly wobbly road. (East and west coast are linked by pipeline) As for shutting the plant down.. They are just making a big deal out of it to make the strike look bad. Every year they have various "Shutdowns" for repair work.. usually 2-3 weeks for the Cracker unit that makes the fuel, nobody knows anything about them though till they fire the plant up and the sky turns orange again.
