Hahah yea maybe I can take some when I get home from work. I have basically the whole thing apart. I should be fine with it all going back together though I have it mapped out well.

No you wouldn't. All you need to check compression is a battery, motor doesn't have to be in frame!

You can check clearance in head alone, not as accurate but will give you an idea.

A badly burnt seat would give 0 clearance.

Ok that makes sense cause you can just jump the starter. Here are some pictures of the madness in my garage. This is right before I took the head off so the right peg is off along with some other stuff now. Sorry it's so messy. With it being the end of winter the garage hasn't been cleaned in a while.
