 How about Rudyard Lake in Staffordshire, then through to Buxton etc?  Just a thought

I do like the idea of going south a bit. We spent a week just north of Shrewsbury and the roads are superb! It could be a real "Border Patrol Borders" ride...

Meet somewhere Ride to Rudyard and have a coffe natter Ride to a known decent cafe in peaks for lunch Ride back Col, you want to suggest a meeting point and route to Rudyard?
