And I think you missunderstand me with the revving. You probably overlooked the word "slightly". That means that I am cruising between 3-4,5t rpms (my normale pace while commuting), I disengage the clucth, revs goes down almost to idle and with disengaged cluth I do a gentle twist with my right wrist getting the rpms to approximately 5-5,5t rpms and immidietaly falling down again and engaging the clutch. I consider this to be a gentle, nice and in no way offensive way of how to remind someone who might just overlooked or overheard me that I am behind him. That certainly doesn't mean that I hold the bike in 10t rpms for 30 seconds while simultaneously spitting lightings and farting thunders ![]() You know what actually, I believe that in real world you ride your push bike and me my motorbike in different ways than it has come up from these few written letters and I believe that if we would meet on the road we probably would just have a friendly talk on the red lights about the starting rain and us getting wet ![]() ![]() |

And is perfectly acceptable.* Quote:
When I ride a push iron I fully accept that having paid no road tax, and being missing of the rather vital engine component I am not part of the whole "road" thing and therefore do my best to stay out of the way. Militant cyclits have no place on the road, it is every road users duty to reducate these spackers until they behave. Holding it at 10k rpms is not good for the engine. You should instead accelerate smoothly up to 10k rpm, maybe in 2nd or 3rd gear. And aim to pass by close enough that said mong ends up in a canal.
