Ok so this might have reared it's head to bite me again today.
No flood however the passenger side wiper has died on the way into work - same side that flooded. Thankfully it wasn't my wife driving with the kids nor a long trip.
With the wiper arm removed it still moves now and then, but doesn't seam to have the power anymore to drag the wiper across the window.
So far I can't see anyone who makes a patent part. I have found a company selling Renault ones for £190.00.

OMO what would you guys/girls do.

Take it to Renault - and get shafted.
Take it to a local garage - possible get shafted.
Take a punt and buy the one for £190.00 - potentially get shafted.

It doesn't look very serviceable.

Dreading this being the first of many electrical issues.

My dad had two Granadas and a Cortina that used to fill up in either the boot or the footwell, when it rained, so he drilled a hole in the boot and floor.

He likes old boats that take on water. His Audi filled with water in the passenger side footwell, but before he did anything old school his marvellous daughter looked on the interweb thingy and opened the bonnet, to show him he had his very own fish tank behind the engine.....

And all he had to do was pull out the plug at the back

My Cavalier had a similar fish tank in the engine bay, used to fill up the rear passenger footwells, until I cleaned out the drain
