My options are:

Cargo net.
Tail pack.
Top box.

The latter being the most secure and waterproof. :P

I'm with andy, left arm through visor opening, been doing it for years, but I've never been caught out in the rain !

me 2,

gets uncomfortable after a few miles though.

ive seen some people ride with the helmet over thier mirrors before, wouldnt work on my bike, but on a naked . . . mabe .

How about for SV650s WITHOUT a grab rail, can spare helmets still be bungeed to the back of my bike?

if ya take off the pillion seat, bunge net it around teh whole thing (helmet and seat) then reattach the pillion seat that hold really well.

You could lock it in, AND bungee it down if you plan on going at speed
