yeah i regret not selling my as crashed ...

i have spent ..

400 on front end ..
270 on a radiator
200 on some new rubber as gixxer wheel was bald
150 on tank
45 on bars
35 on mirrors
50 on mini fly screen
50 on front mudguard
60 on braided lines
60 on tail fairing
100 fitting
30 magnets and speedo sensor.

and i still need to get the front wheel powder coated and i want it spraying too because the tank is blue and the back end is a scratched so thats around another 600 quids ..... so after that it will have cost me 2 grand lol ... and it only cost me 2600 for the bike with 1023 miles on the clock .... what a twit i am.

there's no gixxer front end (compleat) on ebay atm and nothing for that price, and i cant wait around for ever, and sv is nearly as expensive

I think you just want a new toy

Can't imagine a hornet being much fun @ 33bhp?

mates can still pull prety well at 33bhp and do about 109mph top end

Guess you need to work out how much it's worth as is (unless you've already made your mind up on a new bike) I'd ask for a go on your mates' first.

its anoying because bike is nearly perfect apart from the above parts, the tank is fine the crash bungs are fine, rear sets are fine its just the front end and right side panel cracked where it mounts + seat cowl

no idea how much its worth but have lots of original bits for it, some are broken but can be put on if the bike was sold damaged

can remove and sell exhast, v stacks, rad grills, rear sets, gsxr shock, fork springs, crash bungs so could get about £200/3 for that lot as they are in good/perfect condition

but no idea about the rest of the bike, need to try and get it to run and if it does then it has all paper work, and good tires so could get what £600? more ?

im not giving up with it fully as of yet but it doesnt sound to promising (ohh and its not just my choice what happens to it )

PS liking the j2 zx6r lol

I know how you feel, my curvy was immaculate before I attempted to kill it. Pristine, 6k on the clock - I was asked if it was brand new once

Ring round some bike breakers. Get prices on complete front ends. I did and it wasnt a huge price from some of them. Admitedly it was too high for me, but comparable to ebay certainly

That is what I would suggest, ring some breakers.
My gixxer 1000 k2 front end was pretty cheap and a piece of p!ss to fit, ignition barrel from the sv just slots right in and steering lock all lines up correctly.
I used the sv master cylinder.
Would think your brake lines would be ok to re use (unless they are shagged), not sure if the thread on the banjo bolt is the same pitch though.
I paid 250 for the forks, lower yoke, steering stem, wheel + tyre, discs and spindle (and a steering damper). 70 for the calipers. 20 for a top yoke (this came with bottom yoke, stem, and ignition barrel) and about 30 for the clip ons. So that is about 350 and it would have been good to go, but I replaced the lines for braided lines and bought a carbon mudguard instead of a plastic one that can be had on ebay for about 30.
