cook it for too long in the microwave.

It forms a very hard, crunchy bottom, which is very much like a giant crisp. Delicious when soaked in butter.

It's very tasty - Cazza will be with me on this one - we've had at least three conversations about them.

hovis, dont tab it with olive oil, cake it with olive oil, and roll it in sea salt, makes the skins extra crispy.

serve with a variety of toppings, such as

sauted mushrooms and melted mixed cheese
pesto and olives
chilli con carnie
beans and cheese
crushed tortilla (or pringles) chips, salsa and melted cheese.

or for the hardcore meat heads :
burger on top, with bacon, mushrooms, sausages, and plenty of cheese melted on top.
