The other good one is to stop 2" from them, and apply the horn and keep it pressed till they look, shout out some abuse about how dumb they are and doesn't looking apply to them. Everyone will look, the pedestrian will feel an idiot.
Another bullsh*t post.. 'Most parents' ? Why should common sense etc disappear because the government changes?

Most jaywalkers I see are well into middle age and probably vote the same as you.

I agree about jaywalkers but you got to admit that a lot of us bikers are a*ssholes too.

Slip the clutch and rev the engine. Makes it sound like you're speeding up, but in actuality, are slowing down. People with ipods on who don't look either way before stepping out are the worst, but even they usually respond to this.

Another BS post? Is there an issue here?

I'd say here i am in full biking gear, leathers, helmet. Try it..... Some have, that all i'll say there

Nope, sorry, im very cautious when riding, i take great care to look at crossings, very cautious and curtious regarding traffic. Im respectful on the road, if someone doesn't want to show that same respect, then let my warth bellow. OK that respect has come through experience, but unlike many bikers, if someone indicating to move lanes, i'll slow and let them perform the manouver.

If pedestrian lights are red though, and theres 2-3 crossing in the very close vacinity, then I have no respect for those that cannot be bothered. They are one of two things.

LAZY becuase they can't be assed to walk to one of those crossing.
STUPID/IGNORENT becuase they think their bodys will stand up to a car/bike if they were hit.

Maybe in wales with all the hills, winding roads, places where theres no-one, its different. Try comign down to central london for a day, then do it for 8 years, then tell me if you feel the same.

14,000 rpm for the ZX6R (While dramatically coming to a stop 12 inches from them) however, has made a kid's limbs all try to run away in different directions at the same time. He could hear that through the iPod and I know his name was Peter, because his mum was screaming at him

Laugh? Kept me happy the whole way home.....

I saw a lot of that when I was at Soho, and that's what pushed me to get a luder can on the SV.

Works a treat, and I have a horn that sounds like a freight train to use as well.

No-one ever expects a bike horn to be so loud... it's great fun!
