because it's a condition. You either have it or you don't. Diagnosis is someone telling you that you have it.

I know the thread title is more likely to attract those with the condition than those without, but out of 60-odd votes the incidence here is nearly 40%, way higher than the supposed "average."

I find it interesting that peeps who have posted that they are dyslexic have learned to live so well with it - I would never have suspected that most, if not all, of them were sufferers.

Why is the word 'dyslexic' so hard to spell?

If you are dyslexic and need some work, you could apply to Cambridgeshire council for a job painting white lines on roads:
