sorry to hear about your bike kate,
at least you did everything you could to deter the average thief, but as youve already said if someone really wants it the y can get it, all the locks in the workd wont stop someone who knows what theyre doing an d have the balls to front it out. hope you get a speedy resolution |

Thieving Scum. Lowest of the low. In the words of Kenny Everett 'I'd like to round 'em up in a field and bomb the b*st*rds'
I've never been tempted to buy hooky gear and it really grates when people I know say things to me like 'I got that from a mate its a bit warm if you know what I mean' Why do it? Anyway I hope it gets sorted quickly Kate. |

Bugger, so sorry to hear this!
![]() So true. Someone I know buys all his electrical goods "off the back of the lorry", yet he claims to 'hate thieving'. How does that work, then? :/ |

I know some of it goes to dodgy back street garages but I am sure most of it goes on ebay. No shortage of people on bike forums bragging about all the bargains they got on ebay but what goes around comes around... If I drop my bike I will pay more to get my parts from a reputable dealer because if I help maintain demand for nicked parts then my bike could be next. No doubt many Gixxer owners will be repairing their accident damage on the cheap this summer courtesy of the thread starter so I hope they can sleep at night. The bottom line is that the final recipient of stolen parts is always going to be other bikers so lets not blame the thieving scum as they are just satisfying the demand of the real scum who are out for a bargain and don't ask questions. |

Sorry to hear this. The worse part is that when declaring to insurers this goes down as your fault. Fecking lame.
