Got myself a pair of crashbungs off ebay. They are etched with crashbung.co.uk who seem to no longer exist so I can't get any info from the suppliers.
These fit onto the forward engine mounts via an aluminium bush. Anyone know the correct torque setting for them? Ideally someone with some crashbung.com fitting instructions; failing that anyone got a manual for a K3 SV1000 covering the torque settings? It's the furthest forward engine mounting bolts. Thanks in advance, Mark

On the 'T' tightness scale I would just go with FT. ferkin tight.

HOWEVER in researching for my Z750, I found that the recommended torque by R&G was less than the standard engine bolt torque. So settled for the lesser value. I cant really tell you due to not knowing what the replacement bolt is made of etc, as it may not be suitable for the standard engine bolt torque. I would google some more - the company may have vanished, but posts on forums may still be around. The other question you must also ask yourself, is although they may have been cheap, there may be a reason WHY the company no longer trades.........

Stroll into a bike shop and have a quick nosey through a workshop manual or ask a mechanic.
