Having no luck in sourcing second hand mounts/clamps for a 2000 reg naked yoke and handlebars.
A local engineering shop said they could make up clamps for around £60. Bit worried they will be strong enough, didnt ask exactly what they would be made from! Anyone else went down this route? £60 an ok price? |

which bits are you wanting exactly? The risers which bolt to the yoke and hold the handlebars in place?
If so I've bought them secondhand for £30 ish. Bandit ones are about the same, in fact nearly any naked bike.

I bought Renthal ones new off ebay for ~£25 or so. There were lots on there, but I expect you'd have to be careful-ish as the bolt sizes seem to vary.

IIRC (will check in a minute) stock SV650 bolt to hold the riser to the yoke is an M10 and the bolts to clamp the risers together are M6.
There is LOADS of meat in the top yoke if you had to drill it out to M12 or something though.

Have seen a few renthal ones on ebay for 22mm bars, but dont mention the fixing bolt size or have double bolts to fit to the yoke.
And are they called clamps, mounts or risers? The parts link at the top of the page calls them HOLDER HANDLE LOWER and HOLDER HANDLE UPPER! |

Standard bars are 22mm or 7/8".
Those on the eBay link are REALLY high, stock is only like 20mm of rise and even then you benefit from lower bars.
