Aye, that's my bike as it was until about a year ago... You can't see all the scratches and cracks in that pic I always liked the black but it's a bit boring...
I remember now, minifun had the blue wrap in a photo thread.

Northy, I can see that mahoosive scratch behind the front indicator.

Hah, that's actually a reflection... But look just behind it and there's a 6 inch crack

Mine didn't. it must be favoritism

Dont really like the idea of using blue wrap, think it would look a bit nasty I think a heat shield is the way to go but i'd rather buy one than fabricate one.

Ive got a hi level blue flame can and Ive got a similar problem at the moment it's not melting my boots but it is leaving a nasty black/brown mark on the pipe (I got an aluminium heat shield with the hindle down pipes that rivets onto the hi level link pipe with two small nuts between the shield and pipe) when i get round to getting my down pipes on, corroded studs being an issue at the mo i'll rivet on the shield. I find keeping my feet a little further forward on the pegs helps and Autoglym metal polish gets the marks off the pipe nicely.
