Not a prob hovis I hope I just like SV's and always wanted one, they're all soo sweet Any advice on the curvy? and the restrictor?

Restrictors on curvy's are washers in the carbs, I think restricting the amount of air let into the engine (less air, means less fuel combusted means less power made)

Do you require a restriction? Ask if it comes with the relevant certificate, although I beleive this isnt a legal requirement. You could get a dyno done to show it has 33bhp if you ever need to prove it.

On the main website that accompanys this forum, there is a guide showing how to derestrict a curvy I think.

i think there is 2 washers in the carbs, but im not sure

sombody will be hsre soon to help,

is it yellow?

Oh yes defo and I want it back to full power. I did agree to buy knowing the restriction. I didn't think is would be a huge problem getting it back.

Hey Matt and everyone, thanks for the help. I'll know better once I pick the bike up on Sat. I'll let you know if I have trouble. Matt I'll try and find the inst on the main site if I can find it

Ok mate, no worries. If your not familier with the workings then do get someone to help it does look a bit tricky if you dont know what your doing.

Still, even restricted the bike is a hoot!
