I don't know why anyone would want to ride a bike in Wales, I avoid it like the plague becasue of the Nazi attitude of the North Wales police. There are plenty of good roads here in civilisation to not have to bother going there.

I rode with Mike once - he's awesome on two wheels, a brilliant rider. So yes Quiff I'm very happy to confirm

I was following Luckypants into the corner with Pete and Lissa in between. As always, Luckypants took a perfect line into the corner and when I came round a moment later his bike was in the air with him sliding along the floor. Not at all what I expected to see. It's the first time I've ridden with him and he's got such a smooth, controlled style of riding that seeing on the deck was a complete and utter shock.

Like Quiff said, we (the leading group) were pushing on a bit but at no point did Luckypants look like he was over-doing it (quite the opposite) so I'm not going to offer an opinion as to why he came off. I'm just relieved that he wasn't too badly hurt and he'll live to tell the org exactly what happened.
