ISB Aghadowey 14 July

Next National round is at Agahdowey on 14 July. Practice starts about 9 and racing from lunchtime.


There is a test day the previous day on 13 July but afaik it is for race licence holders only.

Allright thanks, keep me informed please. I take it youre not for Mondello. A big entry again 45 riders! Think the lightweights is growing rapidly. Have just seen the vid of the Bush from Baylors bike....looks a hard track to learn.

No probs Scoby - I cant get down to Mondello as much as i'd like with doing the roads too - the money just dosent stretch so something has to be cut back on.

Yep Bush was an exciting circuit - i was up several times before the race weekend walking parts of it and working out lines, etc and it did pay off but as always it is different going at racing speed on the whole road. I loved it. Really need something done with the forks tho, she was a real handful on parts of it.

I got Clarence Bell (pro link) to put emulators in my forks and they`ve been spot on all year. I,ve come off twice this season, but highsided twice, where as last year I lost the front a few times. Reckon they would be to stiff for the road....but he can adjust them to suit. He's worth talking to.

The ankle is still realy tender...weak..didnt think it would take so long. I was lucky taht we had a break for a few weeks. Right I'll c ya in Aghadowey

Just finished out in the garage - we have brought the forks up a bit more - i think the forks are from a naked sv they are longer than my road sv which is the same model. I will see how it goes on Friday at the practice day.

You were lucky that ankle wasnt broken - it sure looked that way.

Never mind at least you were able to go on hols - i have nothing planned but might take a backpak and head over to Italy and hostel thro it for a while late in Sept. Just have to see how it goes in the meantime

maybe! but at least you wont need snorkelling gear like in 'Dello at the weekend - soooo glad i wasnt there.


i dont mind racing in the wet but racing in a flood is a bit much!!
