Default New favourite advert - cadburys dairy milk

I'd love to have been a fly on the wall when the ad agency pitched their idea to the client.

"Ok, to sell your chocolate bars, we're going to start with a close up of a soulful looking gorilla, with a phil collins track intro playing in the background. As the track progresses to the dramatic drum roll we pan back and the gorilla is seen to be sat at a drum kit, he then goes mental on the drums".

It's definitely original, and odd. I'm not sure it makes me want to buy more chocolate but it certainly makes me think they hired talented ad folks.

The web resolution doesn't really do it justice - on the telly you can see so much more detail, the gorilla has soul, it's very human, you can tell he can feel the music.

This is a brief explanation from the developers:

"
Drumming gorillas, Phil Collins and Glass And A Half Full Productions?

Well it just seemed like the right thing to do. There's no clever science behind it - it's just an effort to make you smile, in exactly the same way Cadbury Dairy Milk does. And that's what we aim to continue to do; simply make you smile. So if a drumming gorilla's not enough, wait until you see what else we have up our sleeves.
Sign up if you're curious..."

Apparently there is more to come.
