Been thinking about this one.....I'm at a stage where I appear to be passionate about absolutely: NOTHING

I used to be really into music - gigs, writing music, playing music, listening to music
I used to do martial arts (I used to play/teach capoeira, did a bit of karate, kick boxing, judo)
fell walking
rock climbing
loads of surfing
loads of snowboarding
fiction writing
drawing

I just seem to ride a bike as a means to an end, the track day was fun, doing bits on a bike is really interesting but the novelty will wear off.

I just seem to drift from one hobby to the next. I'll do a hobby for a couple of years, learn as much as I can then drift into another hooby.

Which leads to the questions: What's it all about? Do I need a raison d'etre when I can't even manage a quelque-chose a faire?

This may be why I'm planning my RTW trip - fresh perspective n'all.

I have other interests than biking, not sure I'd call them passions though. They are:

Fitness
Mountain Biking
Cars
Music
Film
History
Poetry
I also enjoy a bit of power kiting every now and then.

I ****ing hate DIY, but that seems to take up a lot of my time of late

I think thats a good thing really. Sure have some hobbies, enjoy them for a while, then move onto other things. Why stop, theres so much in life to do, at least try to do as much as you enjoy as possible.

I suppose atm my main passion/obsession is getting my BA(Hons) degree - but its part time (OU) so a few more years and 4 more 60 point courses to go.
