wish mine was 96 pound, tht is rele cheap, unofortunatly age is every thign when it comes to insurance. looks like around 17 you'll be looking at 800. 19 some where around 400 then after 25 it does drop. my dads insurance on a new er 6f was only bout 80. its just not fair.!!! scott.

If you shop around you can get insurance at 17 for 500, i live in one of the worst parts of the country have 3 points and paid 500

It's only expensive when you're younger because you personally are an unknown quantitiy, and on average (not saying you mate) younger riders are more 'invincible' then older (see cynical) riders!

Once you've had you first BPF of over 9.0 (bum-pucker-factor) such as a tank slapper at (ahem) naughty speeds, and you realise the human heart just ain't designed to do 200 beats a minute, your insurance will probably come down sometime soon after (if you survive it!)

Removal of your underwear from your ar** however, well, that may take longer!

You're going to look like a chump the first time you chuck it down the road and then don't have the money to get it back up and running. Then, suddenly all the trick bits and associated coolness aint so cool. FFS, at your age, just having a bike should be thrill enough. Best keep it in your pants while driving and put some miles in on a bike with that much grunt. In time, you can do all your modding. But, then again, when I was your age, patience meant about 3 seconds. Have fun and be careful, keep your eyes on the road not the birds!

word of advice on insurance if u tell insurance boput fairing it does bump it up a bit

no it dosent, iv had quotes and they said as long as its not a performance part they dont reli care, as long as its been stated they wont care, + if i do have an accident its cheeper 4 them 2 replace a fibreglass fairing than an original suzuki plastic 1
