No...

But it has to go in Law's long term grand scheme of things.

I'd advise you not to think about buying a SV or bigger bike til you finished the CBT and ridden a 500cc as then you'll have a better idea of how you're progressing and whether you'll be able or want to handle a SV.

The SV is an easy bike to get on with, I didn't ride any bike for 18 months after passing my DAS, then I got the SV.

hiya i took my test finally last yr and had ridden about on a 125 for a yr before and did over 4000 miles on it, a little honda shadow, loved her, gave me more confidence that way. if u try to ride about on a 125 then think u r ready for the test then nothing is lost as they r all very sellable?

Well done on doing your test! I hoping to get my little 125 soon and then get some road experience to gain confidence for the test. My CBT is a week Saturday so really excited it's all starting to happen now! I really can't wait!

wow good for u; u wil love it wen u done it, such freedom, altho in saying that i still do and always will prefer pillion!! wot 125 did u get in the end? it is good to be able to get some experience and feel for riding a bike b4 u take yr big test, b4 u know it u wil ave yr sv with all of us lol hope the weather stays good for u and yr test too, it is meant to get better now.

I haven't got one yet but i'm hoping to get a Honda CG125. My CBT is 5th April so want to get one just before then so I can ride it if i successfully pass! Fingers crossed!

I had a CG, good little bikes, very hard to kill them.
